wellness rituals for women

Why this works when other things haven’t

You don't need more self-discipline. You need a skillful coach and a group of women who actually notice when you're not there.

Distractedness and apathy are real. Life is full. Motivation is famously unreliable. But when a community knows your name and a class is happening at a set time on Tuesday morning, something shifts. You show up. And showing up imperfectly, consistently, over time is genuinely everything.

No YouTube video has ever texted to check on you. No prerecorded program has ever celebrated your birthday or remembered that your knee was bothering you last week. This is different.

Around here, realistic expectations become clear, long-term consistency becomes your mantra, and somewhere along the way a movement-rich life quietly becomes yours.

"The women in this membership are the kind of people who show up, pay attention, and make you feel like you belong here. That part isn't accidental, it's the whole point."

classes

Every week you'll have your choice of 5 live, interactive classes on Zoom, plus a full library of recorded videos and materials available anytime.

All classes are designed specifically for the women in this membership with a focus on building strength, improving balance, and moving mindfully through whatever life puts in front of you. Your living room, a wooded trail, your garden, a plaza in a foreign city… we train for all of it.

intermediate Yoga

A grounding, full-body practice that builds mobility, coordination and inner calm. We move through postures intentionally with a focus on breath, alignment and feeling what’s going on in your body. You're always given options because your body is the expert on your body.

Live on Zoom - Mondays, 10 - 11 AM Mountain Time

Chair Yoga

All the benefits of yoga, without so much getting up and down off the ground. Chair yoga is ideal for anyone managing injuries, joint sensitivity, limited mobility, or simply looking for a gentler entry point. It’s also a powerful standalone practice for building mindfulness and ease in the body.

Live on Zoom - Mondays, 10 - 11 AM Mountain Time

Bones, Balance & Play

Balance is one of the most important and most overlooked qualities to cultivate after 50. This class targets the brain-body connections that keep you steady on your feet. Expect balance games, coordination work, and novelty that will get you moving your body with an attitude of playfulness. Fair warning: you may feel ridiculous. You'll also feel remarkably alive.

Live on Zoom - Tuesdays, 9 - 9:45 AM Mountain Time

Strength Training

Functional strength work designed to keep you capable, confident, and independent as you age. We use simple equipment (kettlebells, hand weights, and bodyweight) you’ll progress at a pace that builds real strength without overwhelm. No gym required. This is the class that makes stacking firewood easier, grandchildren easier to keep up with, and your own body feel like something you can rely on.

Live on Zoom - Wednesdays, 8:30 - 9:30 AM Mountain Time

mindful moon movement

Once a week we go deeper… on purpose. Reflect on the current phase of the moon as a means to arrive fully in your body, both in your movement practice and your daily life. Expect a gentle, whole body movement session that encourages you to be intentional with your actions. Explore embodied themes such as: going inward, letting go & receiving.

Live on Zoom - Thursdays, 9 - 9:45 AM Mountain Time

on demand library

Can’t get to live classes this week? No problem. Your membership includes full access to a growing library of recorded classes, guides, and materials.

You can practice when it fits into your schedule and from anywhere: visiting family, staying in the RV on the Oregon coast or from your hotel room in Barcelona.

Your starter kit

New members are encouraged to gather a small set of props for at home sessions. These are the tools we use regularly across all class types:

  • Yoga mat

  • 2 cork blocks

  • Foam half-dome

  • 20 lb kettlebell

  • 5 lb set of hand weights

Most of these are available affordably online or at local sporting goods stores. The kettlebell is the most intimidating to buy. It's also the one you'll be most proud of owning. If you're not sure where to start, reach out. I'm happy to help.
